TYDDYN BRYN MAWR MEDIEVAL HISTORICAL FARM PROJECT

The aim is to develop a mixed farm of the period displaying typical land use and livestock of an upland Tyddyn or manorial holding.

This will include elements of traditional and rare breeds of livestock and specialist historical seed types of the period.

  • Three field strip system.
  • Medieval varieties of Wheat, Barley etc.
  • Arable crops of the period.
  • Medieval kitchen, dyers and herb garden.
